| Industry standard "Titanium strip for titanium and (13th Dec 22 at 2:00am UTC) | | Original Title: Industry Standard Titanium Strip for Titanium and Titanium Alloy Welded Pipe Industry Standard Titanium Strip for Titanium and Titanium Alloy Welded Pipe I. Task Source and Plan Requirements According to the spirit of relevant documents of the National Committee for Standardization of Nonferrous Metals, Baotai Group Company undertakes the task of drafting this standard. II. Compilation Principles At present, there is no titanium strip standard for titanium and titanium alloy welded pipes at home and abroad, most of the titanium welded pipes are signed according to ASTMB338 and GB/T3625 standards, and most of the domestic titanium strips for welded pipes are imported from abroad. At present, the domestic manufacturers of titanium strip for this purpose basically put forward some special requirements for mechanical properties and thickness tolerance on the basis of ASTM B265. Based on the current situation, in order to facilitate the development of products in the industry, the production, procurement and further forming of special titanium strip for welded pipes are coordinated. This specification is mainly based on ASTMB265 standard, and reasonable adjustments are made on this basis to ensure that all indicators of welded pipes meet the requirements of the standard. Each index of the pipe meets the standard requirements. The main technical contents include: 1. Product classification: including the brand and status of the material, the type and specification of the product. 2. Technical requirements: including chemical composition, allowable dimensional deviation, mechanical properties, process performance and surface quality. 3. Test method 4. Inspection rules 5. Marking, packaging, etc. 6. Certificate of quality III. Description of main technical contents and comparative analysis with domestic and foreign standards 1. Scope of application, brand and specification In view of the main varieties and specifications of titanium welded pipes at home and abroad, the standard covers 12 grades of Gr1/TA1, Gr2/TA2, Titanium welding pipe , Gr3/TA3, Gr7/TA9, Gr11/TA9-1 and Gr12/TA10. Specification: 0.4 ~ 2.1 300 ~ 610 > 500000mm. 2. Regulations on chemical composition The chemical composition of Gr series grades is completely consistent with ASTMB265 and ASTMB338 standards. The specified TA series grades have the same composition as TA1 and Gr1, TA2 and Gr2, TA3 and Gr3, TA9 and Gr7, TA9-1 and Gr11, and TA10 and Gr12. 3. Stipulations on allowable deviation of dimension 3.1 Allowable deviation of thickness According to ASTMB265 standard, the allowable thickness deviation is divided into three grades within the bandwidth of 304.8 ~ 609.6mm, of which the thickness tolerance of 304.8 ~ 406.4mm is stricter. Table 1 is a comparison of the thickness tolerance specified in this specification, ASTMB265 and ASTMB338. Expand the full text Table 1 It can be seen from Table 1 that the thickness deviation specified in this specification is stricter than or equal to ASTMB265, and stricter than ASTMB338 and GB/T3625. After the titanium strip produced and purchased according to this standard is formed, the dimensional tolerance of the welded wall thickness of the finished product can meet the standard requirements. 3.2 Provisions on width and allowable deviation of width It can be seen from Table 2 that for the strip with the same thickness, the width and allowable deviation of the width in this specification are completely consistent with those in ASTMB265; compared with GB/T3622 titanium and titanium alloy strip and foil, the size value of the strip with the same thickness is larger, and the allowable deviation of the width is stricter than that in GB/T3622. See Table 2 for details. Table 2 3.3 Requirements for curvature and surface quality ASTMB265 does not specify the side curvature and surface quality. In this specification, the side curvature is required to be 4mm/2m, which is stricter than GB/T3622 (3 mm/m). The requirements for surface quality are the same as those in GB/T3622. 4 Performance 4.1 Mechanical properties In view of the fact that the strength (especially the yield strength) of the titanium and titanium alloy welded pipe is increased to a certain extent compared with the titanium strip in the forming process, in order to make the finished pipe meet the mechanical properties requirements of ASTM B338 and GB/T3625 for titanium and titanium alloy seamless and welded pipes for heat exchangers and condensers, according to our company's experience in titanium welded pipe production for many years, The corresponding indexes of this specification are proposed, and the performance comparison with ASTMB338 and ASTMB265 GB/T3625 is shown in Table 3. 4.2 Process performance The bending method and index specified for Gr series grades in this specification are completely consistent with ASTM B265. Except TA10,3d titanium wire, the bending indexes of other TA series grades are looser than GB/T3622 standard. See Table 4 for details. Table 4 IV.
